Inspired by the world of crafts, Gabriela De Laurentis devised the project of valuing manual crafts through aprons for not finding work aprons with attractive design. In 2016 founded DeLaurentis, a brand of natural aprons, aimed to revalue crafts through this tool of pride, identity, significance, culture and personal stories. The aprons are developed with a focus on design, research, innovation and sustainability, thinking about the needs and self-esteem of those who make by hand. So that people are inspired to do, learn and explore crafts proudly.
The Curiosity Collection is made with sustainable fabrics: pet and recycled cotton; and 100% organic cotton, and the production residues are donated to partner brands: Cotton de Fadas, Polyana Saturnino, Alento, among others. Among the aprons in the new collection, stands out the Lima apron, pierced and with opening at the front, suitable for ceramics and lathe; produced in co-creation with the carioca (Born in Rio) ceramist Suzana Rosenfeld, tested and approved by her.
